HORLICKS COOKBOOK PROMOTION: Eating, yes, EATING Horlicks is hardly an appetising concept (especially when savoury recipes are on the menu), so promoting the new Horlicks Cookbook presented an unsavoury challenge.

How could we engage a sceptical audience? It seemed only natural to address the user’s ‘Are you kidding?’ mindset with the agreeable ‘So you can have your Horlicks and eat it?’ question.

This proposition led the homepage takeover and promotional landing page on www.horlicks.co.uk, and coinciding email which drove consumers to buy the book and join the social media campaign on Facebook and YouTube.

Who would’ve thought Horlicks can malti-task? (I’ll get my coat.)
